Neki savet?
Hvala
Ovo sam nasao:
"...The second most important area to check is the eyes, nose and mouth area of your gecko. In general, the mouth and nose areas are one of the first areas they will shed, but you should still check to make sure of it. The eyes are a different area, particularly if your leopard gecko has already lost fingers or toes because of previous bad sheds. One of the first geckos I ever got had difficulties with shedding anything on his head because he had lost toes previously. As such, I almost always have to help remove the shed on his face, particularly around his eyes.
If you don’t remove the shed surrounding the eyes, it can seize up the eyebrows, and hold the gecko’s eyes shut. You should see almost clear hoods around the gecko’s eyes, and that tends to mean that the gecko hasn’t shed the skin properly. With this kind of problem, I would again suggest a water bath, using your hands to drip water on the animals’ face, and then try thy q-tip solution first. If you are forced to use tweezers, try to hold the gecko’s face steady while you work; you won’t want to play with tweezers too close to your gecko’s eyes. Another important tip with this is to remove the shed in as large of chunks as you can manage, so starting by the ears or neck and pulling forward across the eyes is probably ideal...."
